Proper golf stance should be as wide as your shoulders. Make sure that your shoulders are aligned at your target. Point your right foot straight and point your left foot to the left. Keep your elbows natural in order to maintain proper golf stance.
Some minor adjustments can make major changes where your golf ball will end up. Therefore, practice the proper golf stance and make small adjustments till you get the best results out of it.

A common way of correcting a golf slice is adjusting your hands for a proper grip. Try to grip the golf club with your left hand and then put your thumb along the shaft.
